Fisher plow no power to controller

The plow motor runs when you put a jumper wire to solenoid. Power to one of the red wires and both black wires. The controller seems to have quit. It's less than one year old but the old round plug. Backlight works but the red light doesn't come on when you hold on. Took the controller apart and there is a part at the back that is HOT.

Misterplow, get a 12 volt test light and start checking for power at the solenoid. If the clicking you hear is at the solenoid, make sure there is power going to the plow pump motor when you activate the controller.
